Job Description :
Gather requirements; compile data; prepare and analyze results; distribute reports.
Perform analysis to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Query and combine data from a variety of sources for use in reporting, research and to support decision-making.
Develop, design and test complex program logic in order to produce analytical reports.
Prepare tables, charts, graphs or spreadsheets in a clear, concise and easy to understand manner for inclusion in reports and presentations as needed.
Ensure data integrity; develop and produce reports utilized in measuring data accuracy.
Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, recommend and implement process improvements.
Improve performance and value of existing reports and tools; design and support production of new reporting processes.Required Technical Skills:

Significant experience in data analysis and report design/development.
In-depth knowledge and experience with relational databases/concepts and query tools.
Advanced experience in Business Objects – developing complex reports in Webi; linking multiple universes; creating calculations, variables, and user objects; creating prompts, filters, and conditions to improve report usability; validating data against multiple sources; producing detailed and consistent formatting for reports with various output (e.g., PDF, excel); scheduling reports for delivery
Use of business intelligence reporting tools (e.g., MS Excel, Crystal Reports, Oracle Business Intelligence, etc
MS Excel – creating graphs, formulas, and advanced functions, retrieving/importing data from other sources, exporting data to other tools
MS Access – Importing data from other sources, linking, external databases, creating tables, table relationships, forms, queries, and reports; exporting data to other sources
Business Objects/Crystal Reports/Business Intelligence – Report design, connecting to databases, joining tables, filtering data Five (5) years of related experience. Preference will be given to candidates, who in addition to meeting the qualifications listed above, possess the following:

Experience in a Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse field or Healthcare-related field
Familiarity with Healthcare Coding Structures (DSM, ICD, CPT, HCPS)
Strong organizational skills with high level of attention to detail

Experience in training and supporting end-user reporting needs
Results-oriented
Quick-learner able to learn and consistently apply nuanced concepts specific to the business needs
