Summary:
Needs consumer lending origination risk background (regulatory, compliance, credit and most important, operational risk), and/or consumer lending operational risk management, experience with lending risk is a bonus.
Required Skills:
5-7 years experience in Risk Management in a consumer banking capacity
Experience in one or more of the following:
Risk Management
Project Management
Continuous Improvement
Operations
Experience in a financial institution or service oriented company is required
Experience in loan servicing product is strongly preferred
Understanding of operational control identification and mapping as part of a newly designed process
Solid comfort level with basic operations technologies and ecosystems
Desire to work in a fast paced environment where competing initiatives are emerging on a daily basis
Job description:
This role will be required to utilize continuous improvement and risk management skills to work with the businesses to limit and remediate risks, as well as utilizing Voice of the Customer data to identify opportunities to align activities related to Consumer Operations to simplify how we work, enable end-to-end accountability and deliver a more consistent customer experience.
From a Risk perspective, this role will be required to advise and assist in building and strengthening adequacy and effectiveness of controls, and assist in the completion of risk assessments related to new processes and procedures.
