Business Systems Analyst at Jersey City, NJ for 6 + Months ONLY Citizen and GC


The Business Systems Analyst is the primary liaison between systems developers and the operational groups delivering the Quote to Cash process transformation and system implementation program. The selected candidate works directly with Transformation and Operational groups within Finance and various lines of business to translate processing requirements into design specifications. This position develops program specifications and is responsible for the development of test plans and coordinates with project managers to deliver action plans within the Quote to Cash program.

The Business Systems Analyst is expected to perform job duties with minimal oversight in a busy, challenging, and high-intensity work environment. The incumbent must be a self-starter who consistently demonstrates the ability to produce results and resolve complex problems. Quality of work is key as errors can cause delay, expense, and/or disruption.


The incumbent will:

Research and analyze all aspects of existing business practices and procedures.

Document business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, user interface screen design, workflows, and approvals, based on self-initiated interviews and business flow analysis.

Ensure traceability of requirements through all aspects of the system including user stories, key design decisions, business process flows, data flows and transformations, and user interface screens.

Act as a liaison between the technical and business views of the system, ensuring that the technical solutions satisfy the needs of the business.

Validate integrated functionality, usability, reliability, and performance requirements of the system.

Create and maintain system procedure documentation and other communications as required.

Develop and deliver training for new Quote to Cash Applications.

Prepare documentation related to the deployment, operation, and support of the new applications and systems environment.

Work within a team structure to ensure an on-time delivery of all project commitments.


· Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· 5+ years related experience.

· Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud is desired, but not required.

· Expertise in one of the following process areas. Quoting, Pricing, Service Contracts, Project Billing, Project Financials, Receivables, Revenue Management, Integration, Data Migration.

· Able to work independently with minimal oversight.

· Superior communication skills; fluent written and spoken English. Ability to communicate effectively with business constituents at all levels verbally and in writing.

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

· Fluent knowledge of Office applications including Visio.

· Positive and flexible attitude with ability to operate to time-sensitive deadlines.

· Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.


· Requires travel (on average 25%) for requirements analysis, training, and staff coordination. Passport/Visa will be required.
