The Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) and the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) are working to build the state’s interoperability program to make data available to the right person at the right time for the right reason. This effort is known as the Joint Agency Interoperability (JAI) project.

The project’s scope of work includes a suite of services, deliverables and milestones to be accomplished by September 2019, and comprises Phase 1 of JAI project. Phase 1 implementation is targeted for the county caseworker use case to enable better case coordination. The objective of this project is to create a singular caseworker view (the “Caseworker View”) across health and human services programs and systems.

The Business Analyst(s) on this project will be tasked with gathering requirements from across OIT, CDHS and HCPF from the initial target systems including interface requirements, creation of user stories, acceptance criteria and high level test plan for both system and user acceptance testing. The Business Analyst should have a bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science or equivalent and at least 6 years of experience working in a complex business environment, health care and/or government experience is a plus. Familiarity with APIs and system integrations is also preferred.
