Essential Job Functions
Perform ETL tasks using SQL that collect, parse, cleanse, and manage large, complex sets of data to prepare them for analysis.
Utilize object-oriented programming languages and inferential statistics to analyze, identify, and visualize, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Utilize critical thinking to deliver actionable insights and recommended strategies to the leaders of core process areas.
Be a resource and advocate for data contained in the operational data stores.

Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or relevant experience
2+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education.
Expertise in either writing SQL queries or applying inferential statistics.
? Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
? Ability to self-manage, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Criteria
Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field.
Experience writing SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases.
Experience with inferential statistics.
Knowledge of health insurance products, claims, and enrollment and billing.
Strong oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
