Job Description:
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. May require a bachelor''s degree in a related area and at least 4 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of Contractor staff. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
ONSITE
The purpose of this request is to procure Business Systems Analysis services for the ODOT Transportation Data Section. This role will be part of a small IS team, that supports business partners and works with vendors to provide software and data solutions. The primary tasks the contractor will perform are as follows:
Analyze the various ODOT Transportation Data systems, processes, databases and document the AS-IS and TO-BE business processes and technology.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit information, guide brainstorming and design sessions, and gain consensus
Collaborate with Transportation Data customers about their needs, requirements, and recommend design solution alternatives to ODOT IT business lines.
Document requirements and conduct traceability through design and testing
Provide unit, system, and user acceptance testing support.
Analyze the data in various ODOT systems with relation to Traffic Count data, and document a data conversion plan
This engagement primarily would focus on ODOT Traffic Count System Replacement Project
Project Management support may be required at various stages of the project.
