Job Description

Researches and analyzes basic and complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of an organization. Makes recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency and practices. Simulates and tests process improvements. Communicates changes and may provide training to impacted business units. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Plays a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. Focus for the role is on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The position will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

Conducts impact analyses, assesses change readiness, identifies key departmental stakeholders and departmental training needs.

Conducts organizational analyses to support the development and implementation of an effective change management & communications strategy to improve team member engagement and increase awareness and adoption of initiatives implemented.

Creates and implements change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.

Identifies and on boards change leaders and stakeholders across all impacted functions with vendor and customers.

Manages impact assessment to consolidate detailed functional impacts with global impacts to create “single source of truth” as foundation for change plan and content creation.

Supports project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.

Works to resolve ‘soft tensions’ between projects, internal teams, and relevant business areas, flagging any potential issues to leadership and within the project team.

A change management certification or designation is preferred, such as PROSCI certification.
