As a BO Developer be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
Skills/Experience:
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
o BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
o Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
o Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
o Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
o Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
o Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages such as Business Objects and Oracle PL/SQL
o Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
o Strong experience with Business Objects Reporting and Development, demonstrated SQL and PL/SQL skills (Must have a strong working knowledge with oracle 11g and 12c), experience with SQL Optimization, ability to understand DB execution Plan, SQL Tuning Advisor and to create optimum Database objects for query performance
o Must have strong written, oral communication, and analytical skills and an ability to work with offshore/onshore team members globally
o Experience utilizing Agile Development methodology, working in a financial services company environment, prior project management training and/or experience, knowledge of traditional credit products specifically Loans, knowledge of Production Release Processes,
o Experience with Misys LOANIQ product and with VBA preferred.
