Job Description :
Role : Business Intelligence Project Manager

Location : Seattle, Washington

Duration : 3- 12 Plus Months Contract





· Business Intelligence Analytics product knowledge and experience.

· Project management experience managing a project team of at least ten members or equivalent education and/or experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the job requirements.

· Familiar with PMI best practices.

· Experience with different SDLC approaches, especially with Agile/Scrum. Have led Scrum meetings, managed the backlog and prioritized sprint content.

· Familiar with lean concepts, tools and practices.

· Agile / Scrum methodology PM experience

· Experience with, use and application of, Lean process and principles

· Provide toolkit of product selection and implementation strategy, methodology and documentation templates strongly desired.

· Experience/knowledge of the three source systems in scope for the BI/Analytics product implementation:

Oracle EBS Financials (includes Oracle Project & Grants), PeopleSoft HR and Hyperion Budget & Planning.



Responsibilities:

Assistance with continued high level BI progdevelopment; development of operational processes (ex. Establishing and piloting CAB(Change Advisory Board); participation in inter-entity strategic and tactical discussions and solutions especially with DHR and KCIT analytical initiatives; continued conceptual BI data architecture and BI analysis techniques mentoring for FA’s using formal classes, enhancement analysis, and Power User solution analysis; project management especially for coordinating the resources and tasks across the various BI Insights work streams, ensuring priorities are managed during the Release and Sprint planning sessions and identifying possible challenges and roadblocks; mentoring FA’s in agile/scrum facilitation as they take scrum master classes and begin leading daily stand-ups; continued facilitation of the Financial and HCM data governance program; authoring the monthly BI Insights newsletter; continued QA (Quality Assurance) for all production dashboards ensuring reasonableness in dashboard design, UI, navigation, and possible technical impacts; writing dashboard Overview descriptions; and creating testing scripts for use by technical team for performance testing scenarios.
