Our client in the Philadelphia area is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer for a permanent role by way of a 6 month contract-to-hire.

Position Description:
Take requests from customers, define requirements, and build out requirements based on the data
· Design and maintain SQL theories and SSRS reports
· Communicate with the users daily to ensure content meets the user requirements and facilitate BI reports and tools
· Assist the BI Analysts and Data Architects in design and implementation of Data Marts for reporting and analytics
· Assist the BI Analysts, Project Managers, and Application Developers in requirements design planning with business customers
· Provide support for deployed BI reports, dashboards and content
Required Skills:
· 5+ years’ experience as a Database Administrator/Developer, a Business Intelligence Developer, or a Data Scientist
· Experience with Data Warehousing and understanding of data models such as Star Schemas or Snowflake
· Experience with Microsoft SQL and SSRS
· Familiarity with SSIS and SSAS
· Familiarity with database construction and data modeling
· Strong technical documentation skills and experience creating BI reports (MicroStrategy preferred)
· Understanding of fundamental statistics principals and application
· Excellent communication skills and an analytical mindset
Bonus Skills:
· Experience with MicroStrategy Enterprise Analytics development
· Knowledge of the financial industry
· Data Science background with modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics
· Certifications in BI applications such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, SAP, and SAS
