Job Description :
We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer on a full time direct employee basis. In this role, the Business Intelligence Developer will:
~ Lead the design, configuration, development, release management, and operational support of Business Intelligence analytics and reporting platforms in a Microsoft Power BI and SQL Reporting Services environment.
~ Perform data modeling & design, development, deployment and maintenance to support the BI service and solutions (on-premises and in cloud) that span a variety of systems and data sources.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
~ Business Intelligence, Reporting and Data Warehouse solutions in a corporate / enterprise environment.
~ Microsoft BI tools that include Power BI or SQL Reporting Services)
~ Strong knowledge of data warehouse design, data modeling, SQL and ETL concepts.
~ Business intelligence tools that includes at least on of the following tools: Power BI, Microstrategy, Cognos, Qlikview or Tableau.
~ Knowledgeable about software development lifecycles/methodologies.
~ Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Preferred Skill Sets include:
~ DAX expression language.
~ SQL development (stored procedures, TSQL, PL/SQL etc.
~ Cloud based data tools (AWS or Azure
~ SAP BW & HANA a big plus
~ Microstrategy a big plus
