IDEALFORCE has a Contract position available immediately for a Financial BI Analyst to join our customer in Phoenix, AZ. Please find below additional details about this job. Consultant is responsible to create a Tactical Asset Allocation and Portfolio Rebalance Dashboard for the Client.
Develop a rebalancing/tactical positioning toolkit for the Client portfolio implemented in a dashboard format
(a) Live linked market monitor
- major global markets
- global macro indicators
(b) Valuation and trend analysis for markets
- cross asset linkages
- macro linkages
- relative valuations and trends
- near term projected relative returns
(c) Risk analysis (Barra)
- current position versus SAA
(d) Trade analysis
- trade costs
- probability of trade achieving positive contribution to return

Required skills:
Client implements its analytical projects in the R programming language. For compatibility, dashboard will be coded in the R programming language with standard extensions such as ggplot2 and shiny.
Data sources will include Bloomberg (Client provide access to a Bloomberg license for purposes of this project) and may include open source data such as FRED or Quandl
Client will provide access to a Barra license to implement the risk analysis portion of the project
Applicants will have significant background in global macro strategy, currencies, commodities and global financial markets
