DTS is looking for Business Data Analyst (Power BI) for a long term contract with our direct client in Charlotte, NC. No third party C2C allowed. Candidates have to work directly with us on our W-2.
Description:
The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role improving the resource management data analysis and reporting capabilities for the Engineering & Operations (E&O) division.
Primary responsibilities will include working with E&O stakeholders to methodically understand and decompose the current process and systems landscape and to create enhanced reporting views and capabilities that meet the needs of stakeholders.
The ideal candidate must be passionate about delivering results through data analysis, must be an innovative and strategic thinker, willing to challenge status quo, can learn quickly, is self-motivated, detail oriented, and can sift through voluminous amounts of information to pinpoint which items are relevant for inclusion in the future state solution.
Significant experience working with data in Power BI is a must, including the ability to create queries and visualizations for management.
Experience working with Cognos and other data analysis tools is strongly desired.
This role will require impeccable organizational, time management, and communication skills, and must work well in a matrix organization.
