Job Description
The Business Architect is accountable for developing and implementing viable solutions for internal and external customers while balancing strategic organizational goals. The role acts as the link between IT and business process solutions and is responsible for working with various levels of individuals across the company to understand the needs, opportunities, and constraints in order to create and gain alignment on cost effective results.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide operational direction for design of business solutions
Act as the link between IT platforms and business process management by aligning company goals, prospect/client goals with business operations to produce information as to the connection between different aspects of the deal.
Provide architectural solutions while evaluating business objectives, business processes, and operating model to produce information that relates the concepts, risks, and value of a business.
Lead the development of strategies and goals that guide the operations of a prospect/client.
Provide unconventional approach to tough business challenges and resolve complex problems that cannot be solved by stereotypical methods.
Act as change agent both internally and with prospects and clients to prepare organization for new solutions
Design, implement and measure effectiveness of business operating models
Act as liaison with senior leaders, executives, and middle management to design operating models that integrates business processes with technical solutions.
Evaluate options and design business operating models.
Employ internal and external resources to determine the business capability/functionality so as to design solutions for business problems.
Structure objectives, business processes, and operating model to produce information that relates the concepts, risks, and value of a deal.
Determine the degree of complexity of an implementation as well as the outcome of an implemented strategy.
Identify capability gaps that need to be filled in order to achieve set goals and ensure pricing aligns with solution.
Measure the effectiveness and outcome of an implemented strategy to determine the possibility for new strategies/implementation schemes.
Develop materials to articulate suggested target business model.
Act as a consultant with prospects, clients and business partners to gain alliance on solutions.
Facilitate both internal and external enterprise-wide functional meetings.
