Job Title : Sr Business Analyst/PM
Location: Raleigh NC .
Contract duration: 6 months (initial) – extended till 18 months

Role overview

This role is for a Business Analyst focusing on delivering the global strategic project for Reference Data within Front Office IT. The role will be part of a global ITBA pool executing analysis on client reference data projects, within but not limited to:
Regulatory changes legacy analysis oversight and strategic impact
Projects required for the road map to the creation of the strategic client hub
Analysis on strategic projects
The candidate is also required to provide support to junior team members within the pool, and act as regional support to the global lead based in the UK
Key Deliverables
Eliciting, analyzing, documenting and validating business requirements.
Document Functional requirements.
Experience with KYC and AML.
Analyze and negotiate a common understanding and agreement on requirements with the stakeholders and the project team. Document commitments and decisions.
Ensure key stakeholders provide document sign-offs (e.g., business requirements, functional requirements, etc) on time.
Monitoring, managing and reporting projects\tasks progress to stakeholders\manager.
Follow project change request procedure and log all requirements changes.
Analyze the impact of requirements changes on commitments, project plans and work products.
Maintain system analysis documentation and ensure configuration management of those documents.
Project planning and day to day project management of teams and resources.
Raise and document project risks and issues.
Proactively manage timeline, issues, and client to ensure on time delivery of quality deliverables.
Support development and QA testing cycles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Contribution and support of the client reference data ITBA Pool vision
Mentoring and support to junior analyst

Qualifications/
competencies Required Technical Skills

Good SQL level and an understanding of relational database (Oracle)
Proven communications skills across all levels of the business
Proven business analysis skills
Experience of working with databases, excel and data manipulation tools
Data, flow, business and relationship modeling skills (UML)

Process Methodology (SDLC+ - Software development Life Cycle)
Facilitation (meeting) skills
Test planning and coordination skills
Test preparation and validation
Knowledge of UK/US regulatory process
Project management skills and techniques including resource, schedule planning, risk tracking, status reporting.
