Job description:
Client is standing up a team to provide Identity Management services to business entities operating in America. An internal audit identified key access management areas to focus on that will result in a solid service offering. The BA position will identify business requirements generated from the audit and design the future state business solution.
Work with Identity Management stakeholders to define the business requirements driven from the internal audit and design the use cases and business processes necessary to build the appropriate solutions.
Collect, analyze, review, document, and communicate business needs and requirements to senior leadership, Cyber Security analysts, and IT system engineers.
Work closely with internal and vendor resources to ensure that design and build artifacts and deliverables adhere to quality and development and business guidelines.
Understand and be aware of outcomes and impacts of new requirements to ensure they are aligned with both the IT and business unit objectives.
Support the planning and facilitate the requirement review sessions to ensure alignment across all business units.
Translate business requirements into high level functional specifications for IT systems developers or outside vendors. Partner with system analysts on the configuration design, estimate, build and test; ensure configuration best practices are followed. Provide support to system analysts to prepare and maintain system design documents for use with technical and business teams.
Collaborate with IT professionals to determine if solutions currently exist (internally or externally) or whether new solutions are feasible. Present viable options back to business. Provide guidance and options to the business on technical solutions.
Work with Quality Assurance Team and end-users to develop test cases and acceptance criteria and assist in validating test results. At times, may need to assist with quality assurance activities including design and execution of test cases. Investigate, resolve and escalate problems. Analyze metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and process improvement opportunities.
