Position: Business Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH
Requirement::
Technologies: Soap UI ; XMLs; File Transfer mechanisms strongly preferred
Experience: Story elicitation and refinement, preferred understanding of Document Management, and ability to understand end to end system integrations
Skill set for System BA role –
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of IT and Systems Analyst work experience (Masters and/or 7+ years’ experience for Lead BA)
Minimum 5+ months of programming experience (including academic, internship, co-ops, work study programs or independent research projects)
Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Must have the ability easily assimilate information and learn new applications and processes
Experience in Agile SDLC strongly preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint and process flow charting tools like Visio
Experience with worksheets /data sets, writing VLOOKUP formulas, manipulating data with PivotTables, and presenting results using power point presentations a must
Must have a solid ability to analyze complex system requirements and present findings to both internal and external stakeholders in a simple and comprehensible manner
Must have excellent writing skills, with solid experience in writing functional and technical specification documents and detailed user stories
Must have a good understanding of the defect management and resolution process using defect management tools like HP ALM and JIRA
Experience with System Integration interfaces i.e. Soap UI ; XMLs; File Transfer mechanisms strongly preferred"
