Job Title: Business Analyst
Job Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 12+ months
and must have a year visa validity
Role Synopsis:
Analyse and document Market Risk Requirements in detail. Communicate effectively with Market Risk users and developers to implement the changes. Perform Application testing of the changes and support UAT. Maintain application Backlog, run scrum meetings.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Analysis of requirements
Manual testing of Market Risk applications
Help with the analysis of production issues
Essential Education:
Degree in numeric or IT related subject
Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
5 Years Market Risk Experience (Energy Trading or Investment Banking)
5 years BA experience with hands-on QA
Strong Oracle SQL skills and familiar with databases
Experience in documenting Business Requirements, Test artefacts
Effective Communicator, concise and precise (written and verbal)
Strong problem solving and analytic skills
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile.
Experience with large volumes of data
Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts
Awareness of IT best practices
