Description: The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority''s (WMATA) Department ofInformation Technology (IT) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for Business Analyst -
Mid Level

Responsibilities:
The IT Agile/DevOps Effort will establish common standards, procedures, and tools for executing WMATA IT Agile and DevOps Processes. It will also establish uniform tools for use across WMATA IT Systems, and enable the oversight and support of Agile and DevOps projects within WMATA, starting with Agile pilot projects.
WMATA Agile/DevOps business analyst shall:
Work with the working group to build processes and standards for the Agile and DevOps lifecycles.
Ensure functional and technical requirements are met through system testing, regression testing, performance testing, system interface testing, and security testing activities.
Define Agile and DevOps strategies that are required for a project including release and test automation.
Guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the Agile and DevOps processes.
Apply lessons learned and industry best practices into the Agile/SCRUM processes. o Conduct root cause analysis and establishment of enterprise wide metrics related to Agile and DevOps process improvement.
Plan, execute and report on all Pilot activities.
Define scope for Agile project releases based upon discovery and Fit/Gap analysis.
Develop, publish and implement Pilot strategies, configuration, schedules and related documentation.
Define data requirements, and create and secure data as necessary. o Guide team members during project planning and execution phases ensuring
deliverables are accurately created. o Collaborate with Business and Development teams to ensure established procedures, standards and processes are utilized consistently throughout the Agile/DevOps lifecycles.
Collect, monitor and track progress/status and provide timely communications to stakeholders related to program progress and risks. o Participate as project team member to recommend, develop and implement improvements to existing Agile/DevOps processes and standards related to quality management methodologies.
Develop and run PeopleSoft queries.
Work on all project phases including requirement, fit/gap, configuration, development and testing.
