Complete Description:
The successful candidate will spend a good portion of their time working with the business and technology areas to gather requirements for the Child Care System project. The candidate will gain an understanding of business functions, processing, challenges and opportunities to be effective in this role. The successful candidate is expected to facilitate collaboration to elicit, analyze and document requirements for cross functional solutions and work with project teams to develop scenarios for testing. The successful candidate will possess effective written and verbal communication skills and will collaborate with the leadership to ensure solution and project team are aligned to meet business objectives.
Ability to self-motivate, self-direct, and work with little or no supervision and complete tasks within the defined project constraints
Ability to effectively juggle multiple projects
Demonstrate ability of high levels of interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrate ability to work and communicate with internal and external customers in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner.
Ensure active participation of the correct stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Experience work with technical and business staff on detailed business requirements by using a variety of techniques and tools.
Experience facilitating meetings with stakeholders to collect the information necessary to create deliverables within established deadlines.
Experience managing requirements and facilitating requirements change decisions
Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.
Validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team by communicating and presenting requirement artifacts and deliverables appropriate need
Experience working on projects with mainframe and client/server architectures.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio and Power Point
Experience with Child Care or other Public Programs
Experience developing scenarios for testing.
