Scrum certification is great but would need the experience to go with the certification

Agile experience is must.

Look for person who has more than 15 year’s experience.

Essential Skills

Strategy& Planning/Administration

1) Collaborate across departments to set strategic event technology direction, advance Global Events agenda, and ensure technology projects are planned and implemented according to agreed technology roadmap and timeline.

a. Understand current environment/capabilities (Global Events infrastructure as well as the broader Marketing tech stack

b. Prioritize event technology projects based on defined business objectives and a set of constraints (time, personnel, budget Optimize resources.

c. Manage project interdependencies (capabilities delivery, and/or share of budget/personnel

d. Monitor changes to the broader Marketing tech stack and manage impact of those changes to event technology projects. Provides relevant input about Global Events business to the Marketing tech stack leads.

e. Identifies opportunities to leverage work funded by other departments in support of Global Events goals.

f. Oversees event technology pilots through to full deployment.

2) Coordinates and communicates meeting agendas, action items, notes, reports, budget/financials.

3) Manages meeting logistics.

Communication/Change Management

1) Serves as the central point of contact to other departments regarding Global Events technology projects.

2) Ensures frequent and relevant communication with other departments regarding Global Events technology project status.

3) Prepares Global Events and other departments for change.

a. Oversees all change management activities (plan, comms, training)

b. Creates post roll out tracking to ensure solutions are fully adopted

c. Manages roadmap for ongoing enhancements across all projects

Responsibilities & duties

a. Interact with customers, business owners and/or any needed stakeholders to quickly identify the underlying business needs and requirements.

b. Analyzing the business and technical requirements and identify any gaps between customer requirements and the existing product. If necessary, identify any platform enhancements and build test cases as needed.

c. Identify options for potential solutions and estimate efforts in conjunction with the Engineering and Product Management teams. Create change controls and obtain approvals from customers. Work with the product owners to incorporate new features into product enhancement roadmap.

d. Identify, author, and prioritize user stories including detailed description of expected behavior for proposed new features.

e. Perform proactive and strategic problem solving while considering cross product, cross lines of business impact of design/decisions.

f. Understand our end-users’ business personas and drivers in order to design highly usable and intuitive solutions.

g. Review and provide input on design and implementation of major feature enhancements.

h. Participate in design meetings with Engineering to scope out implementation of features.

i. Determine high-level acceptance criteria to feed into the Testing process; validate features to check for completeness and accuracy.

j. Troubleshoot issues as needed to support deployed solutions.

k. Identify data quality and process issues and make recommendations for remediation.

l. Lead and perform impact analysis.

m. Oversee and provide guidance to 3rd party vendor for outsourced development / managed services.
