Description:
The Senior BA will help gather BRD''s and FSD''s for various lines of business and streamline communication between business groups and technology teams.
The ideal candidate will be considered an expert in providing strategic business solutions to enterprise-wide technology initiatives, concepts and complex projects.
Act as a liaison between business and technology leaders while spearheading communication and project alignment.
Be a high-level internal consultant within technology and business groups by re-engineering technical processes for greatest efficiencies with impact to the business.
Responsibilities:
Work with business partners and technology partners to obtain requirements, communicate issues, obtain resolution, and successfully roll out new applications/enhancements.
Ability to recommend process transformation, understand key pain points.
Willing to take ownership of an issue and seek clarification from all stakeholders and participants.
Describe complicated situations and seek solutions that works for business, technology, risk, legal, compliance and other functional areas.
Understand BRD Business Requirement Document and ensure solution meets all requirements outlined.
Ability to write a complete FSD, including Project overview, requirements traceability matrix, User Interface Description and wireframes, business process models, ensure solution abides by Conceptual Architecture Diagram, Processing Requirements, file layout requirements, Database Requirements, training requirements, user role/access definition.
Work with web and ETL development to understand/approve TDD technical Design Document, including understanding data model according to solution, and the ETL processing requirements. Work with web and ETL dev to resolve issues, obtain /understand schemas from technology partner groups, use XML request/responses.
Work with QA to understand/approve QA Test Plan, scenarios, and test cases.
Work with Operations Support and Production Support as needed to seek issue resolution and support new application rollout.
Work in both waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
Must have knowledge of Visio, Balsamiq/Invision/other wireframe tool,
