Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Roseville, CA

Responsibilities:
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. * Performs detailed analysis and documentation of business data processing and computing needs, develops proposals for application software solutions, and represents user requirements to system developers.
2. * Assesses and documents business application problems and either develops new business processes, or prepares and presents proposals
3. * Analyzes user data and reporting needs, designs and codes ad hoc, as well as standardized reports, and downloads data to spreadsheets or other user tools, as required.
4. * Supports users in system implementation, enhancement, and operation; and provides related training and instruction. Writes user documentation, instructions and training materials.
5. * Develops and executes comprehensive user acceptance test plans, and documents results.
6. * Provides internal and external customer support for systems and websites. Tracks and reports operational issues reported by users and works with technical staff to resolve.
7. * Reviews and audits data base and web content for accuracy and to ensure it properly represents data for reports, decisions and analysis.
8. * Plans and manages projects to implement new or revised systems.
9. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or other related field or a comparable combination of formal education and work experience;
Experience in Infor LN, BAAN
Experience with an ERP
5 years or more years of business operations and systems support experience;
Skills to design and code management reports
Advanced skill to use spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software tools to produce reports and correspondence;
Clear understanding of business systems, processes and data needs of assigned users;
Strong analytical skills and process orientation;
Effective written communication skills for developing user documentation and training materials;
Effective oral communication skills for explaining technical information to end users and business management, and providing user training;
Mathematical skills including the ability to apply basic algebra and concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, discounts, and interest;
Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle multiple projects at the same time.
Human relations skills to maintain effective working relationships with staff, management and clients;
Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and common sense skills.
