Job Description:
GSSR is seeking an experienced and passionate Business Analyst to help grow our Business Analysis Practice.
In this role, the Business Analyst is responsible for working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and manage requirements and business analysis artifacts throughout the solution development lifecycle.
The candidate should be capable of seeing ideas from concept through to implementation and applying a formal business analysis methodology based on industry best practices to accomplish the task.
The position requires an individual with exceptional communications skills (verbal and written), superior facilitation and presentation skills, and strong analytical capabilities.
In this role the Business Analyst will be required to:
Document technical system specifications and technical operations.
Coordinate with support teams and document system specifications.
Functional testing for applications and systems.
Discover, document and analyze business processes at varying levels of detail.
Elicit requirements from a diverse set of business and technical stakeholders.
Analyze and document requirements using graphic and text based techniques (activity diagrams, use cases, user stories, etc to create requirements deliverables.
Manage, communicate, and represent requirements throughout the life of a project.
Evaluate a solutions ability to meet the needs of the business and deliver value.
Collaborate with a business analysts working across various projects to ensure requirements quality and avoid missed requirements.
Qualifications:
5+ years of business analysis experience that includes elicitation, analysis, management, and communication of business and solution requirements.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
