Job Description:
From the manager: “ I need the BA to have POS implementation experience – My first question to the candidate will be, explain to me your last POS implementation, details – Requirements gathering, workflows, etc – They need to be able to explain the project form a business analyst stand point – Hospitality/Retail background would be a great plus”
Requirements:
We are looking for a strong Business Analyst’s with POS applications Implementation experience, and or casino applications projects experience, and or proven hospitality experience - must have worked in multiple projects, not just IT related systems.
Be responsible for the elicitation of business requirements and subsequent creation of a business requirements document.
Ensure changes, updates and exceptions are documented throughout the project life cycle.
Create workflows, swim lanes, mock screens or screens, and other visual aids to demonstrate how the solution should be created.
Collaborate with development and subject matter experts to establish the vision of a project and analyze the tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects
Implementation, system fixes and enhancements, etc. to ensure proper organizational adoption
Must have exceptional communications skills, multi-tasker
Long hours, may have to put in 40 - 60 hours weeks (billable), they have really aggressive project deadlines that must be met.
Must be able to work directly with Business/end users/customers/product owners.
Be confident, be able to manage meetings as needed.
Create status project reports.
