Job Description :
Position: Business Analyst, PM
Location : Columbus,OH
Duraation : 12+ Months

Role and Responsibilities:

The candidate will lead a team of 30 business analysts with oversight of 75–100 concurrent software development projects. He or she will manage both administrative and day-to-day employee activities, including communicating job expectations; assigning projects and monitoring work to ensure it meets project standards and deadlines; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
As a subject matter expert in the healthcare domain, the candidate will develop team domain knowledge and mentor business analysts on quality and process improvement. He or she will employ proven techniques for evaluating the quality and progress of software project requirements phase and evaluate and refine SDLC processes in a constant process improvement effort.
This individual will be in frequent communication with client and peer leaders on business operations and project challenges for Ohio’s core Medicaid platform. He or she will present policy and technical perspective of critical issues with a focus on identifying clear solutions. This individual will also evaluate project risk from requirements and advise technical teams on appropriate mitigations and test plans.

The individual will also participate in responding to public sector RFPs, especially focused on defining scope, preparing statements of work and leading the production of initial project estimates.
Required skills and experience
Experience leading large functional teams or projects
Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal
Direct experience in Medicaid, Medicare or Medicaid/Medicare Managed Care plans
Extensive knowledge of healthcare and health insurance operations, including the processing and management of eligibility data, provider contracting and credentialing, prior authorization, claims adjudication and payment, financial and regulatory reporting, and managed care
Familiar with both waterfall and agile project management approaches
Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
Ability to be flexible and creative
Excellent client-facing skills
