Position Description:
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs
Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies
Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Required:
Seeking a functional business analyst
5 - 8 years’ experience as a BA
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with defining business requirements
Required to analyze data with the application team to define the IT changes required for an existing project
Direct interaction with business is required
Responsible for working with the business to document and define specifics requirements for the development team
Individual will be working on 2-3 projects
Preferred:
Previous experience with any Resource management or scheduling applications or Airport operation will be an added advantage
Airline experience preferred
Experience with Java, Oracle, TFS, and SharePoint preferred. Individual will not be responsible for development but will need to communicate with the development team. An understanding of these technologies would be helpful but not required.
