Job Description:
Sr. DBA to accommodate additional workload due to multiple initiatives like U2.0, Data security, single CRM solution, RSL (TMOFWP1), Cloud solutions, Engineering systems, Intelliflex migration and project support for EDS legacy systems and work under DevOps model for agility. Also, perform following as part of day-to-day tasks.
Lead DBA to assist with following to support multiple initiatives like U2.0, Data security, single CRM solution, RSL (TMOFWP1), Cloud solutions, Engineering systems, Intelliflex migration and implementation of DevOps model for agility.
Provide technical leadership to DBAs, coordinate project activities for database releases, lead the team in technology aspects, identify potential opportunities for better DBA support for agility and data quality.
Establish standards, policies and processes to leverage best practices in the operation of the Teradata databases, advanced analytics, better access management, Data lab management, data security and audit data logging.
Guide development and architecture teams on delivering highly available and scalable solutions.
Assist with day-to-day project related operational tasks as a lead DBA
TD roadmap for V16 upgrade, regression testing, coordination etc.
Assist with generating SOX & CPNI extracts, providing evidences and responding to questions from audit team
Provide technical support, coordinate project activities for database releases, maintain solid working knowledge of functionality of existing platforms and future enhancements, identify potential opportunities for better engagement in DevOps model.
Recommend database solutions to recognize problems and for design and implementation of new Teradata databases.
Establish standards, policies and processes to leverage best practices in the operation of the Teradata databases, advanced analytics, better access management, Data lab management, data security and audit data logging.
Guide development and architecture teams on delivering highly available and scalable solutions.
