Role: Business Analyst
Duration: 6 months contract
Location: Saline Michigan

Responsibilities:
Conduct workshops and interviews with cross-functional stakeholders to understand the business needs, processes and key issues associated with them
Develop current state process flows and define key metrics linked to process outcomes
Analyze existing processes to identify improvement opportunities from people, process, and technology perspective and define potential future state business processes
Communicate future state processes and recommendations through formal presentations for cross-functional stakeholders
Analyze data to identify key trends and derive insights
Elicit requirements from varied set of cross-functional teams. Develop functional requirement specifications (through user stories) based on stakeholder needs and future state processes
Prioritize requirements in collaboration with the stakeholders. Develop roadmap based on the prioritized requirements and obtain buy-in
Work with technical architects to evaluate appropriate technologies that meet business requirements and assist in translating application functionality into solution architecture
Assist user experience designers in developing mockups / wireframes
Develop training material and facilitate training sessions on the new processes and systems.
Required Experience and Education:
A bachelor''s degree or equivalent in business, finance, computer science, or related field
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in business analysis and business process design
Must have domain knowledge in supply chain or manufacturing processes
Experience facilitating workshops for medium-sized work groups (8-10 people) and in delivering presentations
Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Experience in change management is desirable.
