We have an urgent requirement for Business Analyst Intermediate with our direct client
Position: Business Analyst Intermediate
Duration: 12 months
Location: Montgomery, AL
Skills Required:
Very well-organized,
Detail oriented individual to manage data governance and data management maturity
assessments
Gather requirements, and be active team member in the development of a DG strategy and
implementation.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
General understanding of the business functions, processes, and overall business strategies.
Intermediate business acumen and problem solving skills. Ability to interact effectively with
others across functions.
Skills Preferred:
A moderate knowledge of enterprise uses of data and total data flow within enterprise is
preferred.
A strong knowledge of data flow requirements, data modeling, data tools, and statistical
modeling tools is preferred.
Demonstrated intermediate analytic and diagnostic skills is a plus.
Experience Required:
Previous experience with data governance infrastructure within Insurance, State Agency, or
other Health organizations is required.
Three to Five years of experience in a data governance and data management role is
required.
Thorough knowledge of DG strategy development and the DM life cycle is required.
Experience Preferred:
Five to seven years of experience in data governance and data management preferred.
Membership and active participation in health information management trade group(s) is
desired.
Direct experience in the assessment of organizational data governance maturity preferred
and highly desirable.
Education Required:
Bachelors degree in Technology or Business required.
Education Preferred:
Project Management certification is considered a plus, but not required.
