General Description:
This contract position will be working with our eCommerce department and our PMO to help scope and blueprint several web initiatives including a Hybris upgrade, a Solr POC and adding Dynamic Pages to the current website.
Qualifications:
Previous experience implementing/upgrading Hybris based websites as a Business Analyst and/or Systems Analyst.
Understanding of the software development life cycle with ability to differentiate between Waterfall and Agile methods.
Experience preparing and/or executing user requirements, specifications, user manuals, test plans, test scripts and test cases.
Ability to differentiate business requirements from functional requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required with demonstrated ability to research and assess multiple solution approaches.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate process redesign including documentation of current state IT and business processes.
The ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical language both verbally and in writing is essential.
Advanced level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience writing basic SQL queries required. MySQL experience is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.
Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude are necessary.
