REQUIRED:
10+ years experience as a data architect, data model, database designer or equivalent
6+years as a business analyst
Bachelor''s degree in business, computer science or equivalent.
Data Modeling, Database Design, Data Mapping, and Transformation
Data Architecture Planning and Design skills
Data Analysis, naming standards, data definitions, data cleansing and auditing
Business Analyst skills, requirements gathering and mapping
Agile Software Development Experience
User stories, acceptance criteria, story grooming, etc.
MS SQL Server, Oracle, MS Office, PowerPoint, and Visio
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
PREFERRED:
MS SQL Developer
Oracle OUA
Tableau
Utility Experience or similar
OVERVIEW:
The applicant is responsible for designing the data model for the client’s new Customer Research (Marketing) database. The work involves database design on the new system and data mapping from the legacy and the new customer information systems. The applicant will gather requirements, specifications, business processes; create naming standards, data definitions, and data maps. Responsible for creating user stories and acceptance criteria for an agile scrum team to act up on.
