Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst consults with the Business Unit in the development of business requirements and leads the effort to translate business requirements into system requirements. Responsibilities: Consults with the business unit and applies facilitative, elicitation, analytical, writing and presentation skills. SBA will also assist the Business Unit in development of business requirements through: Identification, definition, and elaboration of a business need or problem, which may often be high level, lacking in detail, and imprecisely understood.
Skills:
Senior business analyst needed to document requirements for major product release. Existing product will be basis for requirements. Candidate should be able to capture business requirements and related agile stories for the development team to build. Will meet with subject matter experts for short durations and echo back requirements clearly. Candidate will need good interpersonal skills, good writing skills, ability to quickly grasp business concepts and communicate them in terms a technical implementation team can understand. Should come with existing toolkit to capture requirements. Excel skills will be needed to communicate some complex business rules.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or foreign equivalent in computer science or related discipline Professional designation such as CBAP, PMP, Six Sigma or comparable methodologies strongly encouraged
