Job Description :
Responsible for providing Functional and Technical Design support to the retirement systems web projects. Requested enhancements and/or modifications to the Application, including:
o Reviewing all requests to determine the feasibility of the request:
o Assisting with the development of functional requirements and design
o Development of the technical design documentation, including:
?? Database Design (working with the assigned DBA)
?? User Interface (UI) Prototypes
?? Business Rules
?? Process Flows
?? Report Prototypes
Responsible for the development and unit testing of new applications, application enhancements, and/or modifications, including:
o Application On-Line functionality
o Application Batch processes
o Application Reports
Responsible for the completion of special Management requests, including ad hoc report requests
All work must follow application, user interface, and database standards established by the State Retirement System.

5 years recent experience serving as a business analyst. Candidates with experience performing SCRUM master duties will receive a higher score.
Story/Requirements Gathering
Team Foundation Server 2012 (or newer)
Agile Development methodologies such as Scrum
Automation and solution development in Microsoft Office
Scrum Master Duties

have experience in the last 5 years of systems/business analysis related to the government pension industry or candidate must justify to the evaluator’s satisfaction how his/her experience over the last 5 years will benefit the projects described in Section D.1 above. Examples of this experience would include:
Active Member processing including payroll, contribution and service credit calculations and salary withholding
Service Purchase contracts and agreements
Disability processing including payroll, service credit and contribution adjustments
Average Final Compensation calculations
Benefit estimation and projections
Actuarial Calculations
Benefit setup, eligibility, and benefit calculations
Retiree payroll processing
Benefit maintenance including COLA and benefit recalculations
