We have an urgent requirement for Business Analyst with our direct client.
Position: Business Analyst
Duration: 4 months with extensions possible
Location: Carson City, NV
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED – listed in order of importance
Consultant must have:
The capability to perform the functions described in Section 16, Scope of Work;
Demonstrated ability to proficiently and effectively read, document and communicate in
English;
A minimum of three (3) years of verifiable, direct experience in analyzing business practices
and procedures for the purpose of defining As-Is and To-Be processes and procedures in a
technology environment;
Verifiable, direct experience documenting current practices and procedures, workflow,
information flow and current automated systems;
Verifiable, direct Software/Systems Development Life Cycle experience using Agile-Scrum
methodology;
Verifiable, direct experience in technology requirements development and management
related to building functional and user acceptance testing scenarios, test plans and test
scripts using Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS);
Demonstrated competency in quickly learning and understanding unfamiliar business
processes and practices;
Verifiable, direct experience in conducting operational needs assessments and gap analyses;
Demonstrated competency with industry accepted business analysis methodologies,
standards, procedures and practices;
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office 2016 including Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Visio;
Demonstrated competency in coordinating and collaborating across multiple
agencies/business units, vendors and project teams; and
Proven interpersonal skills and competencies using a positive, proactive, resolute and
patient attitude when dealing with people in the workplace.
