Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
The candidate must have a background in conducting facilitation sessions to elicit information to develop business process maps and associated work instructions. The Worker(s) must have experience documenting business process maps including current and future environments, process re-engineering best practices, business process management fundamentals, and process modeling techniques. The Worker(s) must have experience with performance management including the development of outcome-type performance measures to measure the effectiveness of new processes. The Worker(s) must have experience with software development and maintenance requests, project management, and assisting non-technical agency customers. The Worker(s) must have experience in assessing IT requirements and working within an IT organization.

Must have a strong Business Analysis background with extensive experience in the following:

Minimum
Years Experience
6 Experience documenting current and future environment business process maps using Microsoft Visio® or similar tools within an IT organization.
6 Developing and recommending business process, organizational, and/or performance measurement changes based on analysis and findings.
5 Experience documenting detailed work instructions related to business process maps with Microsoft Word® or similar tools within an IT organization.
3 Experience developing or contributing to a comprehensive project plan with project work breakdown structures for process improvement efforts
5 Experience modeling business processes (using time-study, observation, or other methods) to capture run-rates, throughputs, and other metadata.
Experience documenting business process-based performance measures throughout an IT organization.
8 Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Visio)
6 Experience developing process documentation, new procedures, recommendations, and benefit analysis of process improvements.
Strong Process mapping skills – ability to sequentially capture process steps, actors, and resources
Strong Communication skills – ability to clearly articulate concepts, issues, risks, and findings in both written and verbal formats.
Strong Facilitation skills – ability to elicit information from a variety of subject-matter experts, communicate with multiple stakeholders, and negotiate consensus from differing viewpoints.
Strong Teamwork skills – ability to lead collaboration sessions and facilitate workshops with other functional and technical staff, and proven project team building skills.
