Job Description:
Title: Business Analyst (Agriculture domain)
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Duration : 9+ Months
Agriculture industry domain knowledge and working knowledge of software development life cycle.
Agriculture industry (domain) exposure to Precision Agriculture, crop development breeding pipeline, knowledge of agriculture practices in EU and NA geographies.
Preferably having biology/biotechnology/agriculture/life sciences/botany background.
Conduct requirements elicitation, author detailed product requirements and develop use case documentation.
Work with agronomists, growers, sales team, scrum team members to collaboratively develop end-to-end process flows and test cases; enable the team to develop/ enhance applications.
Maintain updated product and system documentation as changes are made along the development cycle. Review and ensure robust test scenarios and cases.
Functional testing, integration testing and validation of business requirements and system functionality.
Ensure that all required metrics are collected in time and are of good quality.
Report the status of projects and assignments including the risks and mitigation plans to the stakeholders regularly and in a timely manner.
Ensure clear understanding of the specifications by developers and testing teams and provide the support required for these teams to ensure timely delivery in good quality.
Work with stakeholders to define MVP(minimally viable product), provide regular feedback on products and processes to stakeholders.
Participate in the release planning and scoping processes that determine the product roadmap.
Assist the Product Owner/ stakeholders in articulating the product roadmap to internal stake-holders. Act as proxy Product Owner for team by prioritizing backlog.
Working knowledge of SQL, software development life cycle, Conflict management, Negotiation
