Position: Build and Release Engineer
Location : Malvern, PA
Duration : 3-6 Months CTH
Visa: USC or GC
Description:
- Jenkins Build environment experience is pretty much required as they will taking that over for existing employee who is being promoted. They do not need to be an expert as he will train.
- To give you a some idea of what that entails, He setup Jenkins to do automated nightly builds using GIT, GIT Client, and email extension plugins. Refactored Visual Studio build to use common property files to store common build settings for executable, libraries, and dlls. This was in preparation for use with MSBuild running under Jenkins. He also taught himself Groovy language and now creates custom email messages summarizing build results.
- Change Management is required. Any Change Management experience will do but Git is preferred
- C++ and Embedded are nice to have (not preferred just nice to have)
- Experience with Atlassian is practically required: Jira, Github, Bitbucket, or Confluence
