Job Description :
Title: Build and Release Engineer
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32202
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Roles and Responsibilities:
Write scripts to automate operations and server management
Maintain non-prod and Production configuration using automation tools
Troubleshoot non-prod and production middleware & infrastructure issues
Work with Application Developers to automate builds and deployments
Maintain and enhance the Continuous Integration & Deployment
Build and maintain infrastructure on Openshift
Environment management including SQL Server, Windows Server, Oracle, and Websphere.
Perform code merges using source control tools
Adhere to change control processes
Release management and cross team coordination
Required skills:
Should be comfortable with scripting languages like Maven, Python and Groovy
Should have hands on experience with source control tools like GIT and Subversion
Should have hands on experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins
Should be familiar with middleware tools like WebSphere and Tomcat
Should be familiar with unix/linix shell scripting
Experience with container platform like Openshift – good to have
Experience with java technologies – good to have
Basic PL/SQL skills
ability to work late for monthly or out of cycle releases
