Position: Black Box Photography QE
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Description:
Quality Engineer:
Create/update/maintain test plans, test cases and test files.
Execute regular testing for functional areas.
Find bugs and maintain test cases.
Analyze test results and deliver detailed reports that accurately isolate problems.
Create and measure realistic quality goals and processes.
Collaborate with development and other QE on test execution.
Work with prerelease customers to get feedback and track down issues.
Participate in customer forums.
Deliver the highest quality engineering work to assure software quality.

Skills: What you need to succeed

Agile software development methodologies.
Research trending new mobile technology.
Strong computer literacy skills with both Windows and Mac.
Cross-product (Suite) workflows.
Mobile device testing experience.
Mobile application trouble shooting.
Solid understanding of web testing and have excellent understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform issues.
Analyze crashing log to track defects.
Client Lightroom experience is a plus.
Photography experience is a plus.

Teamwork/Attitude:
Able to work independently (or in small groups) with minimum need or supervision.
Self-Starter.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Confidently communicates and collaborates with other functions on technical issues.

Education: Bachelor''s degree or three (3) to five (5) years of professional QE industry experience.
