EXPERIENCE:
8-10 Years experience
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience in Big Data platform setup and maintenance, such as Hortonworks and/or Cloudera stack
Proven experience as an expert Big Data Engineer/Developer with a solution design background
Extensive experience with Big Data Management Platform ecosystem (such as Hadoop - Spark, Hive, HBase, Yarn)
Performance tuning and configuring to maximise performance
Background in designing, building and managing applications to process large amounts of data
Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
Strong understanding of Linux
Software development experience in SQL, Scala and Python programming languages
Experience with NiFi
experience with Big Data Machine Learning toolkits, ie SparkML
Experience working with relational databases – Oracle, MS SQL
