We have an Opening on “Big Fix Engineer” position at New York City, NY
Title: Big Fix Engineer
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: Contract/ Fulltime
Description:
Install security patches for both OS-level and 3rd party products
Perform troubleshooting of failed patch installations, up to and including escalating to and working with the vendor to resolve the issue
Utilize Web Reports to pull ad-hoc custom reports for different aspects of our systems
Install, configure, troubleshoot, patch, and manage BigFix on Windows
Hands on experience with troubleshooting BigFix client and relay communication issues
Support tickets relating to BigFix technical issues primarily and work other tickets as assigned
Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with servers, software, and communications devices
Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution for BigFix and general patching issues on Windows systems
Develop and implement testing strategies and document results
Implement relay assignment strategy.
Experience with software deployment.
Configure and maintain BigFix Inventory
Configure and maintain BigFix Imaging.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned
Participate in special projects as required
