Overview:
Looking for Test Engineer at onsite US to handle project independently having ability to work with various teams to facilitate testing.
Responsibilities:
Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
Collects and analyses data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs
Documents all problems and assists in their resolution
Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners
Daily Tasks Performed:
Provide expertise in the planning, construction, and execution of test scripts/cases
Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team''s overall objectives
Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.
Partner with product owner and developers to deliver a quality product to clients; Evaluation and reporting of test results
Skillsets:
Experience in Big Data analytics testing
Flexibility to work on Selenium or QTP for test automation and also open to work on manual functional tests when needed
knowledge of SQl database (Write & execute SQL Queries)
Strong ability in using QA functional and performance testing tools to create, maintain, and execute test scripts
Excellent communications skills, both written & verbal.
