Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.

Job Summary :

We are seeking for an experienced and energetic candidate that feels comfortable working with higher management and communicating with executives to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with the Desktop Engineering team to tightly integrate data management and reporting for several core endpoint management console data sources and automate the removal (lifecycle) of endpoints .In this position you will address the full system lifecycle including asset discovery and inventory, software distribution, operating system deployment, patch management, power management and remote desktop control in order to reduce management complexity and costs by automating patching, remote software deployments, operating system migrations, and re-imaging. You will automate clustered server patching to minimize labor costs and ensure that all servers are patched and configured according to security policies in order to simplify operations and deliver comprehensive visibility and control .



Essential Job Functions:

Support and troubleshoot any issues with the IBM Endpoint Manager infrastructure.
Collaboration with client to understand requirements and provide feasibility and timelines.
Perform disaster recovery planning and exercises of the IBM Endpoint Manager infrastructure.
Follow best practices for the supported technology
Researching existing infrastructure platforms and API calls to endpoint consoles including Bigfix, SEP, AD, WSUS, DDP, and Symantec CSP.

Requirements :

Bachelors in Computers Science, or related field, with 1-4 years of field experience
Recommended technical skills include client side ASP.Net MVC development, Java development client and server side, Entity Framework, and CSS Web Style Sheets.
Scripting language skills in either VBScript, batch, PowerShell
Intermediate skill with IBM endpoint manager relevance language (Big Fix - fixlets coding)
Basic SQL skills

Preferred :

All Technical certification is a plus.
Familiarity with agile development methodology is a strong plus.
