Job Position : Sr. Big Data Architect
Location : San Jose CA
Duration : 6+ Months
Enterprise Architecture Roadmap
Lead development resources to design, develop and maintain Enterprise Data Platform and other software development.
Strong background in system development and data management.
Manage data platform components including (but not limited to) Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, Mesos, Kubernetes, Akka and Hadoop
Be well versed in Master Data Management, Data Quality and Data Integration.
Be actively involved in the evolution of the data platform for distributed computing.
Manage multiple heterogeneous environments and systems.
Qualifications
Advanced experience with Big Data processing using Apache Hadoop/Spark ecosystem applications like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Cassandra, Kafka and HDFS.
Career level background in big data infrastructure, highly scalable distributed systems and distributed computing platform.
Experience working with containers and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker etc.
Strong data warehousing knowledge and experience along with Master Data Management tools and technologies.
Familiarity with common API''s: REST, SOAP
Experience processing large structured and/or unstructured data sets.
Bachelor''s Degree required. Graduate degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Pentaho or Talend.
Experience with Go, Python, Java, Scala will be a plus.
Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred, but not required.
