Job Title : Big Data Hadoop Admin

Should have worked on Linux Operating system and have good knowledge in Linux commands
Installing Hadoop in Linux environment.
Installing and configuring all CDH stack components. (primary focus on HDFS, spark, Yarn, Hive, oozie, flume, kafka, hbase, Sentry, Impala, hue, Solr, zookeeper)
Deployment in a Hadoop cluster and its maintenance.
Cloudera manager usage to administer the cluster.
Implementing and administering Hadoop infrastructure on an ongoing basis using cloudera manager and as well as CLI.
Health check of a Hadoop cluster monitoring whether it is up and running all the time.
Analyzing the storage data volume and allocating the space in HDFS.
Resource management in a cluster environment. >> This involves new node creation and removal of unused ones.
Configuring high availability for Hadoop services like Namenode, Resource manager, zookeeper etc.
Good knowledge in HIVE, Sprinter, Hue.
Expanding of existing environments.
Setting up Kerberos principals/creation of keytabs.
Performance tuning and running jobs in Hadoop clusters.
Capacity planning.
Monitoring connectivity and security of Hadoop cluster.
Managing and reviewing log files in Hadoop.
Management of HDFS file system and monitoring them.
Maintaining HDFS and providing necessary supports.
Debug & Troubleshooting and report RCA for Hadoop related issues.
