Position: Big Data Engineer (Scala/Spark/Kafka developer)

Location: Plano, TX
Duration: Long Term
Interview - In Person or Skype after Phone (Immediate Interview)
Visa: H1B, USC, GC only
Experience Required: 10+ only

Responsibilities will include:

Design, engineer and build data platform solutions using Big Data Technologies.
Establish and communicate fit for purpose analytical platforms for business prototypes.
Lead innovation by exploring, investigating, recommending, benchmarking and implementing
Data-centric technologies for the platform.
Be a proactive coding engineer. Interfacing with vendors.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 + years of solid development experience on Hadoop, Java/Scala.
Minimum 2+ years of solid experience on Scala, Spark, Kafka, Hive, etc.
Experience on System Integration
Experience on Linux and Big Data Frameworks
Should have working knowledge of MySQL, etcPrior experience with Cloudera is an added advantage
