Big Data Developer (with Azure experience)
Dallas, TX
Contract duration: 12 Months
H1b, US Citizen & GC only (VISA copy required)
Rate: DOE
Responsibilities:
Work closely with client technical heads and business heads and business analysts to understand and document business and technical requirements and constraints.
Build trust with the client and establish self as the single point of contact for all architecture questions.
Drive technical architecture meetings and discussions and help clients select the right architecture for their solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements today and in future
Create, present and get sign-offs for Big Data architecture documents
Assist PM in planning and driving low-level project tasks
Mentor technical and business teams in understanding the overall client requirements and proposed Big Data Solution
Be hands-on in leading and/or performing development work during the production cycle.
Requirements/Qualifications:
10+ years of working experience in developing and doing integration projects for enterprise level solutions.
Highly effective communication and collaboration skills working in a distributed team environment.
Experience with Big Data Technology, including Hadoop and MapReduce
Experience with Azure is preferred
Advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, plus relevant experience.
