Job Description:
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
· Must have 8 - 10 years of experience in the design and delivery of solutions, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Big Data
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
Proficiency with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Impala and Hive
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
Experience with Big Data technologies, both on-line and batch processing, shell scripts / Perl programming. Strong database design and performance tuning
Experience with Informatica/Ab Initio, shell scripts, Perl, Job Scheduling tools like AutoSys, CTRL-M, BI tools experience with Tableau is a plus
Nice to have: Experience with Essbase, Teradata, BI Visualization tools like Cognos, Spotfire and Qlikview, Java, XML a big plus with some front end development experience
Working experience in Unix/Linux and Windows environments
Experience in Consumer Banking and Financial (Finance Systems like General Ledger, Forecasting, Planning and Analysis, etc related areas of IT Project Management or experience with applications handling lot of data from diverse sources.
