Role : Big Data Consultant
Location : Orlando, FL
Long Term contract

Big Data Hortonworks Platform/ Infra Support Engineers:

Implement, troubleshoots, and optimizes distributed platform solutions for the data, analytics platform based on big data technologies like Hive, Hadoop, Kafka, etc. to solve large scale processing problems in a Cloud cluster environment.
Should have managed platform to ensure high availability, security and resiliency.
Platform Monitoring and automation: Monitor large-scale, highly-available Hortonworks Hadoop infrastructure supporting multiple projects at a time; contribution to the automate day to day administration activities by scripting them.
Professional in using any cloud stack
Have built and managed the data lakes using any big data technology or S3. Should know who to manage connections to other Databases (Oracle, SQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL (HBase)
Understand dependencies of project migration from traditional systems to big data environment and help teams to deploy proof of concepts and complete projects to Big Data environment
Have a quality mindset to identify bugs to prevent them in the early stage itself through unit testing, test-driven development, version control, continuous integration and deployment.
Should be able to deliver with minimal guidance from the other team members.
Good communication and analytical skills. Critical thinking will help understand the requirements and implement enterprise level solutions.
